Day 535…Drizzle Then Sunshine

After a restful sleep, the Scot and Kiwi decided to head to South Beach. They discovered Pound Bakery where 2 sausage rolls and a sandwich cost £2 A$3.50. While the Kiwi ate the crusts, savouring the best part for last. A brave seagull decided to take it from her hand. At least she still had another half which she gobbled up quickly.

There were drizzles of water from the sky while they walked through the streets towards South Beach. The added bonus of charity shops were visited but no treasures purchased.

South Beach had a Pier, Amusement Arcades and the Big Dipper Roller Coaster at Pleasure Beach. It was a place to sit and watch the people while they caught some Vit D ☀️.

The duo strolled back to Central Pier for a baked spud and garlic bread. Before another evening immersed in UK TV.

Walked: 10.1km

Quote: With peaks of joy and valleys of heartache, life is a roller coaster ride, the rise and fall of which defines our journey. It is both scary and exciting at the same time.
